Testimonials

“Marie is an excellent clinical researcher. She is a highly organized, innovative team player with high ethical standards. She goes the extra mile to make sure an investigation is done right and completed all the way to publication or market.”

— Dorothee Bienzle, DVM, PhD, DACVP, Professor and Canada Research Chair
(Ontario Veterinary College, Department of Pathobiology)

“I collaborated with Marie on four different research projects over the last several years. She has a scientific mind, excellent familiarity with the literature and research process, and develops clinically-relevant and directly applicable proposals. Her dedication to project completion is admirable, as is her ability to mediate the often challenging dynamic of group work. She is readily able to identify and secure the resources required to address research hypotheses. I hope to be able to collaborate with her again someday in the future!”

— Darren Wood, DVM, DVSc, DACVP, Associate Professor
(Ontario Veterinary College, Department of Pathobiology)

“I had the privilege to participate in the design, implementation and publication of a prospective multi-center research project with Dr. Holowaychuk. Her attention to detail, project design expertise, statistical knowledge and manuscript editing skills were an enormous asset to the large project.”

— Kelly Hall, DVM, MSc, DACVECC, VetCOT Lead & Adjunct Clinical Professor
(University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine)

“Marie assisted us with an experimental procedure that was new to our laboratory, which focuses on canine and feline nutrition. She played an instrumental role in protocol development and approval and the implementation of procedures, training of lab personnel, and care of our canine patients during our recent pilot study.  Marie is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but she is a very organized and personable clinical researcher.”

— Kelly Swanson, BS, MSc, PhD, Professor
(Department of Animal Sciences, University of Illinois)
